Photoshop Alpha Masking Process

The Alpha channel is used to create selections in Photoshop. While selecting using a regular brush, you need to apply the same color to your transparency coefficient (alpha). If some of the selected area is transparent, it will not be visible on the screen.

To create this alpha channel in Photoshop, you must first create a  new fill or configuration layer at a level to convert the current level to the fill level. To do this, you can also select Levels > New Fiss or Settings Level in the menu bar. A new level is created at this original level and there is no transparency factor.
